One of its great advantages is the location of Place des Gouverneurs in Ottawa East near the Aviation Parkway and Ogilvie Road. Not only is it conveniently located near Silver City and St. Laurent Shopping Centre, but also to Highway 417, which can immediately take you downtown or across the city to Nepean or the high-tech centre in Kanata North.
It is no distance at all by car to Ottawa International Airport or the main train station off of Vanier Parkway, and the rapid transit system is also situated nearby for commuters who prefer to leave their car at home.
The Place des Gouverneurs apartment blocks are interspersed with tree-lined sidewalks and paved walkways leading to courtyards, parkland, and other green outdoor spaces. And an air of calm has been planned by relegating most parking space out of sight underground.

Place des Gouverneurs' Giverny Model A warrants particular attention. It is a corner suite with spacious outlooks through windows on two sides and a balcony. A generous vestibule with ceramic tiled flooring is provided on entering, with coat closet on one side and a powder room on the other. The tiled floor continues through into a 11"1" x 10"9" kitchen, with a window over the double sink. It opens out to one side and also into a dining /living room which is 23'9" long with pre-finished hardwood floors. A snack bar is built-in to the back of the kitchen cabinet facing the dining room area.
This is a 2-bedroom design of 1,025 sq ft. Its master bedroom suite has a walk-in closet and a luxury bathroom with a Roman Tub and a separate shower stall. Bathrooms are provided with ceramic flooring. Both bedrooms have wall-to-wall Berber carpet. Stacked laundry appliances are provided in a closet off of the hallway.
